AABE Scholarship Opportunity

In February 2005, the Memorandum of Understanding (”MOU”) in partnership with Colorado School of Mines (”CSM”) committed CSM to providing a four-year scholarship in the amount of $28,125 per year for a non-resident student. The CSM academic requirements for the scholarship are 3.8 GPA or higher, top 5 to 10% class rank, SAT total 1250+ with Math 680+, or ACT Composite 29 with Math 29+. AABE has yet to identify any candidates. The EFS is a one-week working session that was established in 1990. The 17th edition of the annual seminar will be held from Sunday, April 29th until Friday, May 4th, 2007 at the P&G European Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Travel and accommodation expenses for all participants will be paid by P&G. During this week, you and other excellent students from around the world will run a multinational business, developing your management and financial skills by working in teams and interacting with experienced P&G executives. The EFS is an opportunity for you to learn within P&G.The EFS will expose you to a real life business case study, which challenges you to develop strategies and drive decisions together with top students from all over the world.The European Financial Seminar will give you the opportunity to:

Applications are invited for scholarships funded by the British Government for Postgraduate study in the UK during the 2007/08 academic year.Chevening is the UK government’s flagship scholarship scheme, aimed at future leaders, high achievers, opinion formers and decision-makers. The programme funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and administered by the British Council, supports over 2,300 international students annually to study in the UK. Whilst undergoing English language training in Jakarta, candidates are briefed by British Embassy and British Council staff and are given guidance on course selection and applications procedures.
The academic year in the UK commences in September/October. After completing the English courses (around April) candidates are normally advised to return to their employment. The British Council then keeps in touch with candidates about their departure arrangements. Further briefing on the departure arrangements is provided one month prior to departure.

The Overseas Scholarship Scheme was established by the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).
Managed by Univation Ltd, a part of The Robert Gordon University, its purpose is to award scholarships to top Nigerian Graduates to travel to the United Kingdom in order to study postgraduate courses in areas relevant to the Oil, Gas and Solid Minerals industry.
